Soulful Cards

Description

A workshop/playshop designed to transform the stories that hold us back into the stories that call us forward. Many of us live with past beliefs about ourselves and our lives that keep us from creating the life we know we truly long for. When we allow ourselves to get those stories conscious, and bring them into the light through Intentional Creativity we have access to the very ‘soul’ of what needs to be transformed. These often shadowy and painful stories have become beliefs that are often truly holding us back in our lives: the story that you are running is often running your life. The amazing thing is that these stories provide us with the greatest insight into what it is we want to create by showing us where we have been living small, or have become asleep to our vitality.

In closing at 2020, there is no greater time than now for people to rewrite the stories that hold them back and dive deep into their intuition and innate wisdom. Critical skills for navigating these times.

Create your own beautiful affirmation deck that works with the stories you want to create about yourself in your life. You will leave the workshop with at least 8 cards and container you make. Materials provided include fabulous arches watercolor, acrylic paints, pens, glitter, and chocolate.

This class will be held virtually. We will have an 45-minute lunch break. Recommended you bring a journal if you keep one to capture any insights you uncover during the class, a candle to create sacred space for yourself and as part of the circle.

When: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, November 21st

Supplies mailed to you: 

• single sheet of 140 lb Arches watercolor paper; if in Madison area I can provide at a cheaper price; I recommend Dick Blick for best prices.
• acrylics of standard colors (black, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple); craft paint by Americana is fine choice
• medium to large brush
• black sharpie marker

Recommend supplies to bring:

• fake gold leaf
• Medium to large brush; if you do not have a brush, let me know ahead of time.
• And more brushes, metallic paints, posca markers, colored sharpies, etc.
• Candle to create sacred and intentional space and to connect to the larger circle
• Recommendations will be part of your welcome packet for the fake gold leaf
